Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GroomrLink platform, including the web dashboard, APIs and any branded customer mobile applications created through the Service (collectively, the "Service"), operated by GroomrLink ("we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

GroomrLink provides salon and spa owners with tools to manage appointments, staff, services, offers, customer relationships and multi-branch operations. As part of the Service, we also provide a branded customer-facing mobile application for iOS and Android, published under your salon's name, through which your customers may book appointments and receive notifications.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable.

You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. One account may manage multiple salon branches under a single subscription where permitted by your plan.

You must notify us immediately at contact@groomrlink.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

Trial period. New accounts receive a free trial period as specified at sign-up (currently 3 months). No payment method is required during the trial. At the end of the trial, access continues only if you select a paid plan.

Paid plans. Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance. Prices are displayed in the Service and may be updated with 30 days' notice. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, which you are responsible for paying.

Payment processing. Payments are processed by Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorise Razorpay to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time from the dashboard. Access continues until the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued.

Failed payments. If a payment fails, we will notify you and attempt to collect payment. If payment remains outstanding after a grace period, we may suspend your account until the balance is settled.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Upload or transmit content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, fraudulent or infringes any third-party rights.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its related systems.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile or extract source code from any part of the Service.
• Use the Service to send spam, unsolicited commercial messages or misleading notifications to customers.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent.
• Use automated scripts or bots to scrape or interact with the Service.

You retain ownership of all data you and your customers input into the Service ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited licence to process Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the appropriate legal basis to collect and process your customers' personal data and for providing them with adequate privacy notices. Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle data on your behalf.

You may export your Customer Data at any time. We will retain Customer Data for 90 days after account termination before permanent deletion.

Our IP. The Service, including all software, designs, text and graphics, is owned by GroomrLink or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

Your content. You retain ownership of logos, images and brand assets you upload. By uploading such content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use it solely to provide the Service (for example, displaying your logo in the customer app).

Feedback. If you provide suggestions or feedback about the Service, we may use it without restriction or compensation to you.

The Service integrates with third-party providers including Firebase (Google), Razorpay and Apple App Store / Google Play. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy or practices of third-party services.

The branded customer mobile application is made available through Apple App Store and Google Play. Your use of the app is also governed by the terms of the applicable app store. Apple Inc. and Google LLC are not parties to these Terms and have no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app.

We may release updates to the app from time to time. Certain updates may be required to continue using the app. We reserve the right to withdraw or deprecate the app at any time with reasonable notice.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GROOMRLINK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GroomrLink and its officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights; or (d) any content you submit through the Service.

You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and requesting deletion from support.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, or if we are required to do so by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including sections on IP, disclaimers, liability and governing law) shall survive.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to contact us at contact@groomrlink.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
